The Hexxon Oilers is one of the teams in Mutant Football League. They are a parody of the Houston Texans as well as the Houston Oilers (which are currently known as the Tennessee Titans), with Hexxon being a parody of Exxon (part of the ExxonMobil Oil Corporation), which is headquartered in Irving, Texas, which is located in the Dallas-Fort Worth area rather than the Houston area. The team has been mentioned on the Mutant Football League Facebook page and the Console Launch Trailer. Their logo is a demon/faun with a standard eye on the left side of the logo and lightning bolt over it's eye on the right side. Their stadium is "AK-47 Stadium" located in Hexxon, Texas and is a parody of "NRG Stadium" and a reference to the "AK-47" firearm itself. They were released as retail exclusive content for Mutant Football League: Dynasty Edition along with the Purple Mutant Eaters for PS4 on physical release, free DLC on Nintendo Switch on November 9th, and on Xbox One on January 3rd. It was made available for the Steam version on January 4th as the Purple Oil Pack for 99 cents.
The Oilers are owned by the Hexxon Oil Corporation. They are a well-financed team with the finest robotic and alien technology money can buy. The Oilers are known for their ferocious defense led by All-Star blitzer J.J. Rott. They keep games close and the body count high. The Oilers upgraded their offense with quarterback sensation—Destrong Swatson, who has a dream of leading his team to a Mayhem Bowl victory.
